NOMAD Wastewater Treatment

US$7,800.00

Water is the worlds most vital resource and managing it responsibly is essential to our existence. NOMAD’s off-grid water management system ensures that it is used efficiently from collection, storage, use, re-use, and final return to groundwater.

An economic alternative to conventional septic systems can cost between $20,000 - $40,000. NOMAD Wastewater Treatment is a self-contained wastewater treatment system that is fed by gravity or pump and can process both domestic black and grey wastewater. The system has been designed with sufficient capacity to support two people living full time and the effluent is clean enough to disburse in a sand-filled trench or nearby creek or pond. Alternatively, it can be re-used to water food-producing plants in your garden or greenhouse.

Upon completing a Percolation Test of the soil where your effluent will be disbursed, a local wastewater engineer is hired to obtain approvals from your local authorities. NOMAD’s engineers are available to provide technical information and data if needed.
